Stopped by here after attending a birthday mass at St. Joseph's Church. We were greeted by a young gentleman with a warm smile. We sat at the bar and our drink order was immediately taken. We wanted to try so many items and went with the Ube-Coconut pancakes and the Joe's SF Special with garlic fried rice. Our food came out so quick in about 10 minutes. We've had Ube pancakes at other places and haven't really been satisfied UNTIL TODAY. The pancakes were drenched in a dark ube syrup and we were afraid it would be too sweet. They were PERFECT! The edges had a nice crisp and the coconut was a nice addition to each bite. The Joe's Special was a perfect balance of spinach, mushrooms and beef. I opted out the onions since I was sharing with the wife. I'm so used to having my Joe's Special with ketchup but today it was Jufran Banana Ketchup. On top of the great food, the icing on the cake was the service and personalities of the people. My favorite line that Sue would say was "Good Luck!" when she put our food down. We finished everything and we will definitely make the 36 mile drive to come back.

This is a very nice place. The service is friendly and the menu is interesting. I had a tofu scramble. It's completely vegan. My friends had omelettes. The coffee is really good. This was my first time here and I would definitely like to come back.

Seen ads for this place but tried out for the first time on New Year's Day. Ambiance is great, 50's music, 60's murals, very Americana. There was a special menu for today, incredible options including both American and Filipino diner food. Definitely would show visitors here.

It's always a treat when we come to this lil cozy breakfast/lunch restaurant. The food is out of this world! The ube coconut pancakes are sooo good. They drizzle the ube pancakes with ube sauce! My sister loves their longanisa silog. The longanisa has the perfect seasoning. I'm crazy about their pork chops. They also serve amazing tilapia almusal! My tilapia was seasoned just right, crispy skin with tender meat and came with delicious garlic rice, a fried egg and a salad. Do not sleep on this restaurant!

Local brunch place in Pinole. 7 of us went there for weekday brunch. The service was great with friendly staff. Our orders came out at the same time and our coffees were refilled immediately. The Bistek Silog (rib eye beefsteak, eggs , garlic fried rice, pickled onions and tomatoes) was delicious with adobo sauce and I could taste a hint of calamansi. The pork chop silog was tender and seasoned well but not salty. The Longanisa Silog was moist The garlic fried rice was not too garlicky, perfectly balanced. Of course I had to drench everything with vinegar. For dessert we shared the Ube Coconut pancake smothered generously with ube sauce. The star was the Banana's Foster with Bibingka (Filipino rice cake ) oh sooo gooood ! The restaurant is not big so it's better for smaller groups. They also serve lunch.

I was craving some ube pancakes so decided to give this place a try. Walking inside, this reminds me of your traditional American diner, but with a Filipino twist. The staff were nice and friendly. Food was good, but my wife ordered a fried pork chop and it was a little raw. The server quickly took it back and got us a new plate. The ube pancake wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be, but it was flavorful.

I loved how it looked! But I don't taste the Uber that much:) Would definitely come back to try the other items. Very homey place.

Cozy place with solid menu offerings of Filipino and Traditional American breakfast/brunch food. I missed eating silog'd Filipino garlic rice + bistek. I'm a first generation Filipina and my family's mostly spread out, so the food gave some Ratatouille-movie vibes of remembering growing up in a Filipino household on the weekends and watching my Titas preparing joy over the griddle/stove. Speedy service even with all the foot traffic. The lady chefs behind the counter are killing it with their culinary chops & waitresses + server were friendly. I enjoyed observing greatness while sitting at the counter. Going to work the budget to make stopping by Sue's a bi-weekly tradition. Salamat po! Masarap na pagkain.

Sue's Place is a delicious gem in Pinole. A cute diner with delicious food and delightful service. My spouse and I were headed to San Rafael to pick up something and decided to make a full day adventure out of the trip which lead us to finding Sue's Place along the way. We showed up on a Saturday for brunch and we're immediately greeted and seated in a booth by the window. The menu had multiple options we liked but ended up getting items from their specials menu for that Saturday. We ended up getting two orders of the Triple Hog Silog and a order of their Ube Delight French Toast to split. All I can say is, I am happy that I don't live too close else I would be here far too often for my health and wallet. The triple hog silog was bacon, lechon (deep fried pork belly), and longanisa (sweet pork sausage) served with garlic rice, fried eggs and a garnish of sliced tomatoes and pickled onions plus a side of vinegar. This was absolutely delicious. The ube delight french toast was ube dipped French toast with like a sweet/tangy cream cheese spread between the slices, topped with whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and an ube syrup. I could have died and gone to heaven happy eating it with the perfect balance of sweet, acid and fat, which counter balanced the salty silog magnificently. We will be making a trip over again but this time specifically for Sue's Place.
